Appreciate the story about playing Washington in 2013 here - that was a story that was lost. Believe someone could write a few chapters in a book about “How Not to Run an Athletic Department” simply using Thomas’s “brilliant” decisions.
One of Thomas' buddies who he later hired at UIUC....said Thomas walked out of the 'Lasagna' first Beckman news conference 'Mike knew he would need a miracle with that guy'.......his tenure truly a dark time.....
